Funds raised during the traditional "Charity Samruk Marathon 2026" in Astana were allocated to support children with special educational needs. As part of this large-scale sports and social initiative, brand-new inclusion support rooms were opened in schools across Aktobe and Semey.

As a reminder, nearly 3,000 amateur athletes and residents gathered in the capital on May 3, 2026, to participate in the charity run. The initiative was supported by more than 50 major companies and institutions across the country, including Halyk, NCOC, KPO, Kazzinc, and others. Thanks to the combined efforts of partners and active citizens, nearly 250 million KZT was raised.

Tangible Results: Inclusive Environment in Schools

All proceeds from the marathon were directed toward creating an inclusive educational environment in regional schools. By September 1 — Knowledge Day:

  • In 10 schools in Aktobe;

  • In 5 schools in Semey, inclusion support rooms were fully equipped and officially launched.

Through this project, nearly 1,000 children with special educational needs now have access to high-quality assistance from professional defectologists, speech therapists, and psychologists right at their schools.

"An inclusion support room is a supportive environment where, instead of asking a child 'Why can't you do it?', we say 'Let's try together!' Here, we believe in every child's potential, provide timely support, and create conditions for seamless social integration," the organizers noted.

The Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all marathon participants who turned every kilometer into hope, as well as to the partners who made a significant contribution to the project's success.

One team — a shared victory!
