On September 1, new inclusive support classrooms were launched across 10 schools in Aktobe and 5 schools in Semey. This initiative will extend inclusive education to approximately 1,000 children across both cities.

Established within public schools, these classrooms enable children to receive support from specialized professionals directly in their learning environment. This approach fosters social integration, active participation in school life, interaction with peers, and personal skill development.

The project was implemented by the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation, the single charity operator of the JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" group of companies.

The facilities were equipped using funds raised during the Charity Samruk Marathon held on May 3, 2026, in Astana, which brought together 3,000 participants and received support from over 50 corporate partners, including Halyk Bank, NCOC, KPO, Kazzinc, and others.

The spatial concept was developed by the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation in collaboration with inclusive education experts. Designed in a modern open-space format, each facility spans at least 60 square meters and includes designated zones for defectologists, speech therapists, and psychologists, alongside a pottery workshop for creative enrichment. Additionally, a separate physical therapy classroom has been equipped with modern sports gear. Beyond physical infrastructure, educators and specialized personnel will participate in professional development training over the coming year.

In Aktobe, inclusive classrooms were set up in Schools No. 1, 8, 19, 26, 27, 35, 40, and 64, as well as the Dinmukhamed Kunayev Gymnasium and the Kanysh Satpayev School-Lyceum. In Semey, the classrooms opened in Public Schools No. 3, 13, 17, 20, and 47.

A total of 524 million KZT was allocated toward construction, renovation, equipment, and specialist training for the 15 classrooms. Of this amount, 271 million KZT was raised through the Charity Samruk Marathon, with the remainder funded by the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation.

Since 2024, the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies, operating through the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation, has launched 46 inclusive support classrooms nationwide: 21 in Astana, 10 in Aktobe, and 5 each in Semey, Akmola Region, and Atyrau Region. Together, these facilities serve approximately 3,000 children with special educational needs.
