The project is aimed at developing accessible sports infrastructure and supporting inclusive sports in the region. It is being implemented with financial support from Samruk-Kazyna Trust, the unified charity operator of the group of companies of JSC Samruk-Kazyna.

The ceremony was attended by Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, Zhusip Zhumagulov, Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, as well as athletes and sports veterans.

“The Samruk-Kazyna Group continues to provide systematic support for the development of social infrastructure in the North Kazakhstan Region. Between 2021 and 2025, five social facilities were commissioned in the region, including the Qyzyljar Creative Center, the Qamqorlyq Early Intervention Center, a sports complex in Saumalkol, and other important facilities. The launch of the Inclusive Sports Center construction is a continuation of this consistent and purposeful work,” said Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director of JSC Samruk-Kazyna.

The new center will become a modern multifunctional facility designed for adaptive and team sports, training sessions, wellness activities, and sports competitions. The total area of the facility will exceed 3,600 square meters.

The center will include a multi-purpose sports hall with seating for 100 spectators, a gym with a powerlifting zone, a martial arts hall, a board games room, a 25-meter swimming pool with four lanes, a medical station, an administrative and utility block, as well as infrastructure fully adapted for people with limited mobility.

Samruk-Kazyna Trust also plans to build similar inclusive sports centers in Pavlodar and Atyrau, expanding the development of inclusive sports infrastructure across the country.

In total, this year the group of companies of JSC Samruk-Kazyna has launched the construction of 11 sports complexes in the North Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Abai, Atyrau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Almaty, Karaganda, and Ulytau regions.
