The "Qara Altyn" complex opened in April, uniting a museum, a library, and educational and leisure spaces. Today, representatives of the media and the public visited the complex and got acquainted with its operations.

Previously, the local museum was housed in an emergency-state building constructed in 1978. It occupied the first floor of a two-story building, with a total area of 155 square meters. Today, the area of the complex exceeds 700 square meters.

The library holds a collection of about 30,000 items. It features a 50-seat reading room equipped with computer technology and a children's department. Literature in Braille is provided for visually impaired visitors.

The museum section features over 4,500 exhibits dedicated to the history and ethnography of Dossor and the Atyrau region, as well as the development of the oil and gas industry. Special attention was paid to creating a barrier-free environment during the construction of the complex.

The project was implemented on the initiative of JSC "Embamaunaigas" with the support of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna". Financing in the amount of 858.9 million tenge was provided through CF "Samruk-Kazyna Trust".

Overall, over the past 10 years, the Samruk-Kazyna group has allocated 14.81 billion tenge for the implementation of 34 projects in the Atyrau region.
