Ten schools in Aktobe have opened new inclusive support classrooms with the support of Samruk-Kazyna, 24KZ reports. Over 600 students—nearly one in every three children with special educational needs in the region—will be able to study in these fully equipped spaces. Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna," visited one of these classrooms at the Dinmukhamed Kunayev Secondary School-Gymnasium.

The inclusive support classroom at the Kunayev School-Gymnasium can accommodate 96 children with developmental needs. Designed as a modern, open-concept space, it features designated zones where defectologists, speech therapists, and psychologists will work directly with the students. Additionally, a pottery workshop has been established to help students enhance their fine motor skills, creative abilities, and self-expression.

"The classroom is fully equipped with everything required for children with special needs. It is bright, cozy, and comfortable. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Samruk-Kazyna for supporting and opening this classroom for our children," shared Aigerim Alpysbayeva, a local resident of Aktobe.

The adapted physical therapy classroom has also been furnished with specialized equipment and sports gear. Over the course of the year, educators and specialized experts will undergo advanced training to implement modern methodologies in their work with the children. The inclusive classrooms were established using funds raised through the annual Charity Samruk Marathon.

"As part of the Head of State's directive to build a society of equal opportunities, we are carrying out systematic work across the country. Inclusive support classrooms have now been opened in 46 schools throughout Kazakhstan, serving more than 3,000 children. We will continue this important initiative," stated Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna."

In total, since 2016, the single charity operator Samruk-Kazyna Trust has implemented 32 social projects in the region worth nearly 5 billion KZT. Currently, construction of a modern sports and health complex funded by the foundation is also underway in the regional center.
